Friends of Yemen Ministerial Meeting Held in New York

AlQa'dah 11, 1433, Sep 27, 2012, SPA -- The Friends of Yemen Ministerial Meeting was held here today in the presence of Yemeni President Abdu Rabbo Mansur Hadi; Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; British Foreign Secretary William Hague; U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon; and GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashed Al-Zayani.
Addressing the meeting, Al-Zayani confirmed the support of GCC countries for the efforts exerted by the Yemeni President and the National Reconciliation Government to push forward the reform process in Yemen, calling upon the international community to support Yemen to achieve rapid implementation of the GCC initiative.
