AL Chief Heads to New York

AlQa'dah 04, 1433, September 20, 2012, SPA -- Arab League (AL) Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi headed to New York on Thursday morning for a several-day visit during which he will take part in the 67th Session of the UN General Assembly meetings.
The 67th Session of the UNGA, is being held under the theme strengthening the peaceful settlement of international disputes, with participation of a large number of heads of states and governments.
The Arab League chief will also take part in a number of important meetings, including a summit on the situation in Somalia, a summit on the Great Lakes, the rule of law at the national and international levels and a summit on peace-building in a post-conflict stage.
