Israeli forces Saturday arrested eight Palestinians across the West Bank, said security sources. A statement by Palestinian police said that Israeli soldiers raided the town of Beitunia, southwest of the West Bank city of Ramallah, and arrested three Palestinians. In addition, soldiers raided the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, and arrested two others, according to WAFA. In the governorate of Qalqilia, Israeli soldiers arrested three brothers from the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilia, and led them to an unknown destination. In a related incident, a group of Israeli settlers assaulted two Palestinians on their way back from Ramallah to Qalqilia, where the settlers hurled rocks at the two brothers' car, injuring both of them. They were transferred to Rafidia hospital in Nablus to receive treatment.
