Health Minister Launches Kingdom's Project to Measure the Extent & Affliction of Disease

Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah inaugurated, on the sidelines of the International Conference on healthy lifestyles and non-communicable diseases in the Arab world and the Middle East yesterday, the project of measuring the extent and affliction of disease in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in collaboration with Washington-based U.S. National Institute of Health
Standards.
Dr.Al-Rabiah explained that the project will be in two phases: the first is to measure the affliction of disease in general, and the second will measure the extension of disease in each region in the Kingdom to provide a database to help the Ministry of Health.
