At least 28 cases of the Ebola virus have been identified in the Democratic Republic of Congo, killing 14people, the World Health Organization said on Wednesday. According to dpa, the incidents were all reported in Haut-Uele district in Province Orientale, in the north of the massive central African nation. The WHO said it was working with the government to contain the spread of the potentially lethal virus. The UN's health agency did not recommend imposing travel or trade restriction on DR Congo. The strain of the disease in DR Congo is believed to be unrelated to that found in Uganda in July and early August, which killed at least 16 people.
