A fact-finding mission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) left here today for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. During its ten-day visit, the mission will investigate the recent violence and human rights violations against groups of Rohingya Muslims in Rakhine State. The mission is expected to prepare a report on its findings to be presented to the Contact Group on Myanmar, which will meet in New York at the end of September on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly.
