US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on Monday urged China and other countries involved in a dispute over the South China Sea not to resort to coercion, dpa reported. "We believe that countries in the region should work collaboratively to resolve the dispute without coercion, without intimidation, without threats and without the use of force," Clinton said after talks with Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa in Jakarta. Clinton thanked Indonesia for "strongly" supporting US engagement in the Asia-Pacific area and its efforts to advance talks on a regional plan to settle the dispute.
