Iran on Friday rejected as baseless a report by the UN nuclear watchdog that accused it of covering up alleged tests on nuclear warheads at the Parchin military complex, according to dpa. "Such charges have no technical basis," Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi told reporters in Tehran. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) also said on Thursday that Iran had doubled the number of centrifuges at its underground Fordo facility since May and was pushing ahead with efforts to enrich uranium to a level of 20 per cent. Western powers suspect Iran wants to make a nuclear bomb, but Iran always denies.
