India Court Convicts 32 In 2002 Religious Riots

A court in western India has found 32 people guilty for their role in deadly religious riots in 2002. The court acquitted 29 others, according to a report of the Associated Press.
Those found guilty Wednesday include Maya Kodnani, a former government minister in the state of Gujarat.
The religious violence was among India's worst since its independence from Britain in 1947.
