The Head of Arab League Mission in Washington, Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Raja Al-Husseini, has started his visits to a number of U.S. officials, delivered lectures at Georgetown University and American University in Washington, and received a number of university students and high schools in Washington, explaining to them the roles of the Arab League about various issues, its challenges and achievements. The Ambassador, who has recently assumed his post in Washington, DC, as the Head of Arab League Mission in succession to Dr. Hussein Abdul-Khaliq Hassouna, pointed out that he seeks through his works to be an honorable face of Arab citizens and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the service of Arab and Islamic issues. It is noteworthy that Ambassador Al-Husseini was Saudi Ambassador to Turkey and before that to Canada. He has also worked in Saudi missions abroad for 36 years, including Ankara, Ottawa, London, Bamako, Houston, Caracas, and Manila.
