A NATO airstrike in eastern Afghanistan killed a dozen militants including a senior leader of the Taliban, the international military coalition said Saturday, according to a report of the Associated Press. The strike in Afghanistan's eastern Kunar province killed Mullah Dadullah, a senior leader of Taliban, coalition spokesman Maj. Martyn Crighton said. The airstrike was in Kunar's Shigal district. A spokesman for the Pakistani Taliban, Ahsanullah Ahsan, said Dadullah was killed in a drone strike in Kunar.
