Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Hashim Qandail met here today with visiting Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of Egyptian economic reform, plan set by the government to activate economic performance in the next coming period as well as a loan that Egypt plans to receive from the IMF in order to bolster the monetary reserves of its central bank. -- SPA
