More than 200 migrants rescued off Lampedusa

Some 231 migrants were rescued off the coast of the Italian island of Lampedusa on Saturday, after their boat got into difficulties in rough seas, dpa quoted Ansa news agency as reporting.
The 15-metre long boat was in bad repair when rescue units arrived, after the vessel was spotted from the air.
There were four children among the 231 migrants, all believed to be from Africa.
