U.S. Vice President And Iraqi Prime Minister Discuss Crisis in Syria

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki discussed during a telephone conversation yesterday a number of topics including the crisis in Syria.
The White House said in a press statement that Biden and Maliki agreed to hold more consultations between the United States and Iraq in the light of common interest of the two countries with regard to developments in Syria and the region.
