Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received here today Australian Foreign Minister Robert John Carr, currently on a visit to Palestine. During the reception, they discussed the latest developments of peace process and its dilemma due to the intransigence of the Israeli government and its refusal to abide by the resolutions of international legitimacy. The Palestinian President confirmed the need to stop the settlement and accept the principle of two-state solution in order to return to direct negotiations for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the borders of 1967 and its capital Al-Quds.
