The Indonesian economy grew 6.4 per cent in the second quarter from the same period last year, mainly driven by domestic consumption and investment, the Central Bureau of Statistics said Monday. Household and government consumption rose 5 per cent and 7 per cent, respectively, while investment increased 12.3 per cent, the bureau was quoted as saying by DPA. The economy grew 6.3 per cent year-on-year in the first quarter.
