Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad Al-Maliki said Saturday that a meeting for the Palestine Committee of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) aims to emphasize Palestinian rights, including the right to hold international conferences in Palestine. He said at a press conference that this meeting, which is scheduled to be held in Ramallah later today, is a historical event and the first of its kind in Palestine. He said that the meeting aims to support Palestinian efforts to end the Israeli occupation and settlement activities and to support the establishment of a Palestinian state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital, according to a report of Palestine News and Information Agency "WAFA".
