Seven soldiers and four suspected militants were killed Thursday in a clash in the southern Philippines, dpa quoted the military as saying. Three soldiers were also wounded in the fighting in Sumisip town in Basilan province, 900 kilometres south of Manila, said Major General Ricardo Rainier Cruz, an army commander.
