Slovenia will hold presidential elections on November 11, the Speaker of Parliament in Ljubljana, dpa quoted Gregor Virant as announcing Wednesday. The incumbent Danilo Turk already said that he would seek re-election. A former prime minister, Borut Pahor, is also expected to join the race, the STA news agency said. Slovenia is the most economically-developed former Yugoslav republic, and a member of the European Union and NATO since 2004.
