Sudan Welcomes Victory of South Africa in Chairmanship of African Union Commission

Sudan welcomed today South Africa's candidate Dlamini Zuma winning elections to the post of Presidency of African Union Commission, replacing former President of the Commission Jean Ping.
In a statement, Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Karti said that South Africa could play a major role in serving the causes of Africa.
