The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his palace in Jeddah today Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Raja Pervez Ashraf. At the outset of the audience, the Prime Minister conveyed to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques the greetings of President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan. In turn, the monarch sent his greetings to the President. Then, aspects of cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in different fields were discussed in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples. Also discussed, were the overall incidents and developments at the Islamic and international arenas and the position of each of the two countries towards them. The audience was attended by Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense; Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Commander of the National Guard; Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Saudi ambassador to the United States of America; and Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer, Saudi ambassador to Pakistan; On the Pakistani side, the audience was attended by Khurshid Ahmed Shah, Minister of Religious Affairs; Mohammed Naeem Khan, ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom; Masroor Ahmed Jenejo, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Brig.
