A magnetic bomb attached to the vehicle of a local official in northern Afghanistan detonated Monday, killing a bodyguard and injuring eight passersby, Police said. "The bomb was attached to the car of Nezamuddin Nasher, governor of Khan Abad district of Kunduz province in the Kunduz city," a provincial police official, Abdullah Ezmaray said. He said the governor was not in the car at the time, according to a report of DPA.
