US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton landed in Israel overnight for a brief visit. She was scheduled to meet Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, President Shimon Peres, Defence Minister Ehud Barak and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a US embassy spokesman in Tel Aviv said Monday. It is Hillary Clinton's first visit for around two years and the last leg of a 12-day tour abroad which included Egypt for her first talks with its new president, Mohammed Morsi, according to a report of DPA. She is also expected to meet acting Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad in the West Bank.
