Eleven bodies have been found under the rubble of buildings which collapsed in the coastal city of Alexandria, state media reported on Sunday, a day after the disaster. A new 11-storey building collapsed on Saturday in the western neighborhood of Gomrok in Alexandria. Two others next to it then tumbled down, dpa reported. The initial death toll was nine, but rescue teams retrieved two more bodies on Sunday as efforts continued to find any survivors who might still be alive under the rubble.
