Egypt's president Dr. Mohammed Morsi has issued a presidential decision reinstating the lower house of parliament, prior to electing a new chamber in the aftermath of setting a new constitution. Morsi's decision, renegades the decision No. 350 for 2012 that dissolved the People's Assembly, effective June 15, 2012. He also issued a decree for the People's Assembly to re-convene and exercise its powers. The Supreme Constitutional Court had last month invalidated the legislature and termed its electoral law unconstitutional.
