Storms in Germany have killed three, including a nine-year-old girl, and injured at least 20, officials said Saturday, reported the dpa. The girl was struck by lightning late Friday near the eastern city of Dresden. She was running through a swimming pool complex - apparently after several children were told to seek shelter - when lightning struck. A falling tree hit a car in the state of Saxony, killing its 23-year-old driver, while in the northern town of Lueneburg near Hamburg a rotten tree fell on a cyclist, possibly due to the storm. She died in hospital of her injuries.
