The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC ) appointed on Friday three independent experts to conduct a fact-finding mission on the effect of Israeli settlements on Palestinians in the West Bank. UNHRC president, Uruguay's representative to the Council Laura Dupuy Lasserre, named Christine Chanet of France, Unity Dow of Botswana and Asma Jahangir of Pakistan to the committee, according to a report of Palestine News and Information Agency "WAFA".
