Centrist Enrique Pena Nieto, the candidate of Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), was the clear winner of Mexico's presidential elections, according to an announcement Friday by The Federal Electoral Institute (IFE). Pena received 38.2 per cent of the votes. His chief rival , Andrés Manuel Lَpez Obrador of the leftist alliance led by the Party of Democratic Revolution (PRD), received 31.6 per cent. Josefina Vazquez Mota of the governing party PAN received 25.4 per cent of the votes, according to a report of DPA.
