Cyprus plans to borrow money from Russia in addition to bailout requests from the European Union and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), President Demetris Christofias said Thursday, saying Moscow could offer better loan terms. "We can combine both," Christofias told a group of foreign journalists in Nicosia, according to dpa. Cyprus is to become the fifth eurozone member to need an international rescue, but none of the other recipients of aid - Greece, Ireland, Portugal and Spain - have attempted to borrow money from non-EU countries. -- SPA
