Cuban President Raul Castro arrived in China Wednesday for a state visit at the invitation of President Hu Jintao. The four-day visit will include meetings with Hu, Vice President Xi Jinping, Premier Wen Jiabao, Vice Premier Li Keqiang and senior lawmaker Wu Bangguo. Xi is the heir apparent to succeed Hu as President next year, according to a report of DPA. Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin said the visit would strengthen relations between the two countries.
