A suicide car bomber blew himself up on Monday at the gate of a university in southern Afghanistan, killing seven people and injuring 23, an official said. Javed Faisal, a spokesman for the provincial governor, said the university is in Kandahar city, the capital of a province famous of insurgents activity. Faisal said it was not yet clear if university students were among the victims. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
