Police say a single-seat plane made during the 1920s has crashed during an air show in England, killing the pilot. About 600 spectators saw the DH53 aircraft crash in a field not far from where they were watching the show on Sunday at the Old Warden Aerodrome in Biggleswade, a village 47 miles (75 kilometers) north of London. According to AP, the accident led to the cancellation of the show at the aerodrome, which houses a collection of vintage aircraft known as the Shuttleworth Collection. The Air Accidents Investigations Branch said an investigation will be held to determine what caused the crash of the plane made by de Havilland Aircraft Co., and the death of the pilot, who was not identified.
