16th Session of the Saudi-Korean Joint Committee concluded here yesterday where the meeting is co-chaired by Dr. Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Jasser, Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, and Dr. Park Tae-ho, South Korean Minister of Trade. In the final statement, the two sides lauded the outcomes of the important meeting held between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and President Lee Myung-bak of South Korea. The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries in the economic and technical fields. The meeting also discussed agreements and memorandums of understanding between the two countries in the fields of security, housing, navy transportation and sports. The two sides also discussed aspects of cooperation between the two courtiers in the fields of trade, investment, funding, petroleum, mining, energy, water desalination, transportation, science, technology, health, food, medicine, and human resources development.
