Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Shiekh, Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, currently on a visit to Morocco, held talks here today with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Saad Aldeen Al-Othmani. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of mutual concern in addition to bilateral relations between the two counties and ways of enhancing them. In a statement following the meeting, Al Al-Shiekh said his meeting with the minister dealt with the current strong relations binding the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and King Mohammed VI of Morocco and dealt with the current firm relations between the two kingdoms which he described as ideal. He added that he reviewed with the Moroccan minister the areas in which more development between the two countries could be achieved, noting that the Moroccan minister briefed him on the progress of the democratic process and the constitutional reforms done in Morocco. For his part, the Moroccan minister described the meeting as important during which different aspects of the current relations between the two countries were reviewed. Earlier, Al Al-Shiekh held talks with Deputy Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives Kareem Ghallab during which they dealt with ways of developing parliamentary cooperation between the two sisterly kingdoms.
