British Foreign Secretary William Hague began here today an official visit to Pakistan, which is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and holding consultations on current regional issues. A statement issued by the British embassy in Islamabad said that Hague will have a series of meetings with Pakistani officials along with a detailed round of talks with Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar. Hague said his talks with the Pakistani side, will focus on discussing ways to strengthen bilateral relations and hold consultations on the general election to be held in Pakistan as well as to review other regional issues of common concern.
