An Iraqi civilian was killed today in an attack by unidentified gunmen near his home northeast of Baquba, capital of Diyala province, 60 km northeast of Baghdad. A source in the provincial police said that unknown gunmen opened fire this morning from machine guns at a farmer near his home in the village of Abusba, 30 km northeast of Baquba, which led to his death on the spot while the attackers fled. Meanwhile, four people were injured in an adhesive bomb explosion in western Baquba and a policeman was wounded in a roadside bomb targeting a police patrol southwest of Kirkuk, north of Baghdad.
