Putin arrives in Paris for talks on Syria

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Paris Friday evening for talks with President Francois Hollande.
During Putin's visit, Hollande will try convince the Russian leader to abandon his support for the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, dpa reported.
The meeting is his first with France's new president.
