Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) called on the Israeli occupational authorities to stop the attacks on Palestinian museums and archaeological sites. In a statement at the end of a two-day meetings held in Tunisia, ALECSO stressed the need in the Arab world to prepare plans and coordinate measures among the bodies responsible for antiquities, heritage and cultural security to find practical mechanisms for managing crises that threaten the sites.
