Spain expels Syrian senior diplomat in protest of Houla massacre

The Government of Spain decided today to expel Syrian ambassador in Madrid Husam Aldeen Alaa.
The Spanish News Agency said the government's decision comes as a protest of the killing of more than 100 civilians four days earlier in the Syrian town of Houla and as a result of a "concerted decision with our partners.
