Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madina Region, patronized here yesterday evening a graduation ceremony of the 48th batch comprising of 2,518 students of Islamic University of Madinah. Upon arrival at the venue, the Prince was received by the University's Rector Dr. Mohammed Al-Oqla, Vice Rectors and Deans of Colleges. Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Al-Oqla expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his ongoing support for the University. He said that the University has graduated since its inception in 1381AH more than 40,000 students from 167 countries, noting that the number of students at the University now exceeds 20,000.
