Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Ghamdi has presented his credentials to the President of Malta Jorge Abela as non-resident ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Malta. During an audience, which took place at the presidential palace in Valetta yesterday, Al-Ghamdi conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the President, wishing him continuous health and happiness and the Maltese people steady progress and prosperity. In turn, the President sent his greetings to the Saudi monarch and people, wishing them lasting progress and prosperity. The audience was attended by senior protocol officials. Then, the President gave a luncheon party in honor of the Saudi envoy and other three foreign ambassadors who also presented their Papers of Credence to him. On the same day, Al-Ghamdi held talks with Malta's Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tony Baldry and Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. John Pall Greek. During the meetings, matters of mutual concern were discussed.
