At least three people were killed in a bomb blast along a road leading to Damascus airport in Syria on Wednesday, the London-based opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said in a statement. The organization said the blast had targeted a vehicle. Activists reported heavy shelling in Al-Rastan in the central province of Homs, a day after UN observers visited the area, according to a report of DPA.
