Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan Al-Saud, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu has approved Six mega industrial expansion projects for Jubail Industrial City. The approval came during a recently held ceremony in this context. According to Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan, these projects are expected to create more gateways for investments. "In addition, these will also generate a large number of employment opportunities in the region," he was quoted as saying in a press release of the Royal Commission. Al-Jubail Petrochemical Company (Kemya) has been awarded the contract for setting up an industrial complex covering 32.7 hectares. The project worth SR 12 Billion will produce ethylene propylene diene monomer, rubber and black carbon that are used mainly in automotive industry and can be used as well, in the production of tires, computers and rubber insulation. --MORE
