The U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, James B. Smith met here yesterday with a number of students on foreign scholarships and businessmen of Jouf Region. During the meeting, the Ambassador briefed the students on American universities and the proportion of Saudi students there, noting that 75% of applications submitted by students to the Embassy have been accepted. The Ambassador stressed that Saudi-American relations have been distinguished. He also offered to the businessmen a number of trade opportunities in the United States of America. Later, the U.S. Ambassador accompanied by Undersecretary of Principality of Jouf Region Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh toured archaeological sites in the region including castles and the National Museum.
