DAMMAM: The Border Guard in the Eastern Province has issued warnings to all sea vessels of winds of up to 60 kmh and poor visibility off the eastern shores of the Kingdom. Regional spokesman for the Border Guard Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, said that all fishing boats and other vessels had been advised to proceed with caution in the light of information from the General Presidency of Meteorology and Environment Protection. “For further information our emergency number 994 can be contacted before anyone intends to put to sea,” he said. Al-Ghamdi also said that the Border Guard had come to the rescue of the Egyptian crew of a 30-meter yacht that suffered a malfunction while out on the Arabian Gulf.
