RIYADH: “I'm scared of Facebook,” Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah, Minister of Education, has admitted.
“I prefer to meet in person,” he told the Al-Ghad Forum 2011 in Riyadh.
Prince Faisal also proposed at the forum extending language teaching at primary schools to other foreign languages, while in response to a proposal from the floor for the minister to maintain contact with students in higher education via Facebook, Prince Faisal expressed certain reservations.
Prince Faisal said his ministry will ensure to see through the Cabinet approval for the introduction of English language classes in Grade 4 by covering any shortage in teaching staff.
