The navy ship's four-day visit is part of a military cooperation agreement between the Kingdom and Pakistan. “We will engage in training with our brothers from the Saudi Navy. A coordination meeting will be conducted with 40 members to ensure ‘learning by visiting',” said Alamagir Captain Naveed Asharaf. The ship's crew hosted members of the Saudi Navy in the Western Province on Monday. The ceremony included the cutting of a ceremonial cake and a lavish dinner. The frigate contains more than 200 members of the Pakistan Navy, including 18 officers while the rest are sailors and crew members. The United States-made PNS Alamagir started sailing around the world in August last year. It contains the most recent shipping systems including a torpedo missile system.
