Cyber crimes are basically the crimes in which a computer is either used to do a crime or is the target or both. Cyber crimes usually are done with internet as a source. Cyber crimes include accessing other people's computers, accessing bank accounts or sites, hacking the net account details, piracy thefts, etc. Though hard to track, a strict action needs to be taken against such people, so that it doesn't spread like an epidemic and spoil today's youth.

Any illegal activity committed using computers and internet is cyber crime. Some of these are credit card fraud, social harassment, crime against government, pornography, etc. With the intention to prove their prowess even the most intelligent and educated people are tempted towards it. It is a threat to the morality of the young generation where even the high school students who are attracted to cyber crime, consequently indulge in it.

These days cyber crimes are alarmingly high. Most of the youth are indulging in such crimes. Cyber crimes are just a waste of one's abilities and time. The youth should learn to use their efficiency in productive ways rather than getting associated in such hilarious acts. Teenagers must be supervised and administered by adults if they are seen spending much time on the net beyond their working hours.
Every internet user must follow certain ethics and well-defined constraints.
Sheba Mary Mathew
Homeroom teacher
Al-Wurood International School, Jeddah
Crime on net is getting sophisticated at a breakneck speed. Cyber crime has become a serious, widespread, aggressive, growing threat for all the internet users. Cyber crime criminals think that they don't commit any crime as they are physically absent in the arena and they have a false illusion that it is not an actual crime. It is not possible to wipe out cyber crime completely. So we have to be more cautious and try not to fall into a vicious snare.
