TABUK: The driver of a petrol tanker who hit a benzene pump at a fuel station in Al-Asharafyia District, causing a small fire, was found to have fled the scene. The fire was contained by firefighters, Red Crescent personnel, security patrols and electricity company staff. Colonel Mamdouh Al-Ghadfouri, spokesman of the Civil Defense, said safety equipment at the station helped to lessen the effect of the fire. The Civil Defense men and firefighters cordoned off the fire site and the course of the fuel diverted to a ditch dug nearby. Foam was also sprayed over the petrol.
