Relatives of a murdered Saudi have demanded a sum of SR40 million as blood money from the murderer's family. The family of Al-Shamer has agreed to pardon the murderer of their son Falah Bin Abdullah Al-Shamer Al-Ajami of Al-Fehad tribe.
The pardon came about after concerted efforts by Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Riyadh, Prince Abdulrahman Bin Nasser, Governor of Al-Kharj, Al-Watan reported on Sunday.
The murderer's family is seeking to lower the blood money deemed as exaggerated. __
